Global accounts will be converted to Alaska USA systems on April 3rd. The changes will result in enhanced value and expanded service options, including access to a 24/7/365 Member Service Center staffed with credit union employees. However, these aren’t the only changes, on April 3, 2023, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union will be changing its name to Global Credit Union.

Additional services and benefits are headed your way as we prepare to fully merge Global with Alaska USA! On April 3, 2023, your business accounts will be converted—meaning that you will have access to new services such as a 24/7/365 live contact center, an enhanced mobile experience, and checking/savings accounts that will help you both save more and spend less on fees.
We’re committed to ensuring that managing your business is as hassle free as possible and will be sending you correspondence by the end of February with information specific to how your business account(s) will be updated. Included in this packet are a new Business Share Account Disclosure Statement (BSADS) and new Schedule of Service Fees that pertain to Global now being a division of Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. Please review the full details of the revised disclosures.

Global members are already able to take advantage of great benefits due to the merger. These include increased Money Market deposit rates, special rate promotions for Certificate Accounts, and access to more than 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs through the Allpoint network. Members will also see an increase in employee volunteerism and philanthropic efforts in the communities we serve, thanks to our partnership with the Alaska USA Foundation. Since 2003, the Foundation has donated more than $4 million to organizations that provide need-based services to children, veterans, active-duty members of the military and their families, and local food banks and pantries. With conversion on April 3, you'll be assigned new account numbers. Details on all your account changes have been mailed out to you. If you have questions about your accounts, please call us at 800-525-9094
Beginning April 3, please use 325272021 as your new routing number
Your current online banking services will continue until the end of the day on April 2. You will be able to enroll in online services provided by Global beginning April 3 by going to globalcu.org.

The Bill Pay service will have a blackout period from March 27 – April 2. All payments already scheduled to be sent during this period will still be processed. If you need to schedule or pay a new bill during this period, please contact the biller directly. Bill Pay will convert on April 3 for members with existing Bill Pay accounts. All existing Bill Pay payees and scheduled payments will move over automatically.

Your new debit card(s) and/or credit card(s) will be available to use on April 3, after activation. Direct deposits will continue uninterrupted. Recurring electronic debits or credits will be automatically rerouted to your new account(s).
Continue to use your existing checks even after conversion. Unpaid checks will be automatically rerouted to your new account(s).
Many Alaska USA branches participate in CO-OP Shared Branch. Refer to the CO-OP Shared Branch website to find your nearest participating Alaska USA branch or locate your nearest CO-OP Shared Branch ATM.
Alaska USA is a member of the Allpoint surcharge-free ATM network, and after the merger is complete, Global members will have access to more than 55,000 surcharge-free ATMs worldwide.
