Rick was born and raised in the Spokane-North Idaho area. He began working in financial services as a teller for local banks. His real estate career began as an appraiser before transitioning his real estate valuation experience to lending. He has funded several hundred million in commercial real estate transaction locally and throughout the US. In addition to Global Credit Union, he has provided financing through commercial banks, private debt transactions, and insurance companies.
He has held real estate broker licenses in the states of California, Washington and Idaho. He completed the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) curriculum and is a former CCIM Candidate. He has held a Series 7 General Securities license and worked with some of the nation’s wealthiest individuals. He has studied at the Master Appraisal Institute and was a MAI candidate. He was a member of the Golf Course Builder’s Association of America specializing in financing master planned communities with a resort component.
He has been a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. Locally he had his own mortgage brokerage firm. He has been a member of local MLS groups and served as a commissioner with the Coeur d’Alene City Design Review Planning Board.

Christina Marchese is the Commercial Real Estate Lending Relationship Manager for Global Credit Union. She strives to emphasize members’ short- and long-term goals...
...Christina has studied with the CCIM Institute. She particularly enjoys introducing first time commercial real estate investors to the joys of financing cash-flowing properties. Since 2015, she has underwritten and originated over $130 million in CRE transactions with the Global team.
Having grown up in southwestern Michigan, Christina was introduced to Spokane when she arrived for college. Her love for the Pacific Northwest has grown over the years as she has made this her home and connected to the local community. With her husband and daughter, Christina enjoys exploring the clear rivers and lakes of the PNW, any time with church family, home renovation projects, gardening, and camping. Financial and real estate analysis double as a hobby interest. On a quiet evening, she can be found with a cup of tea and a budgeting worksheet.
